Integration Modules Overview
 |
IndigoVision's Integration Modules integrate external systems such as alarm management and access control systems with the IndigoVision IP Video system. The modules allow events to flow in either direction between the IndigoVision system and the external system in a totally seamless fashion to deliver a fully integrated security solution. |
Third Party Generated Events
This diagram shows how events trigger an alarm in the third party system, pass through the IndigoVision Integration Module and cause actions in ‘Control Center'. This includes starting recordings on an IndigoVision Network Video Recorder (NVR), displaying live video from cameras on monitors and IndigoVision ‘Control Center' viewing panes, moving PTZ cameras to specific locations or sending notification emails. All third party system events appear within the IndigoVision Alarm Log and can, for example, be viewed when playing back recordings in ‘Control Center'.
IndigoVision Generated Events
Events which trigger an alarm in an IndigoVision System can pass through the Integration Module and cause actions to take place in the third party system, such as sounding an alarm or logging the event.
